Aztec Group in collaboration with Worldfavor launches its step-by-step guide to SFDR
What is SFDR?
SFDR is the first regulation set by the EU which aims to reorientate capital flow towards sustainable finance. SFDR is inserted to provide transparency on sustainability within the financial market and thereby prevent greenwashing.
Last year on the 10th of March, the EU rolled out the SFDR regulation. The SFDR's main purpose is to reorientate capital towards more sustainable businesses and increase transparency on sustainability among financial institutions and market participants. SFDR exists to provide transparency on sustainability within the financial market and thereby prevent greenwashing in the long term.
Although SFDR has sharpened the sustainability and capital field it has also posed a number of challenges for the industry. Worldfavor has therefore developed a step-by-step guide together with Aztec Group to help managers navigate this complex yet important regulation. The guide consists of information on how SFDR is structured and who it affects as well as a nine step guide that walks you through how to comply with the SFDR.
Since December 2021 Worldfavor and the independent provider of fund, corporate and depositary services Aztec Group has had a strategic alliance. This alliance exists to empower fund professionals to understand their impact across their portfolio, gain deeper insights, act faster, mitigate risk, and make bold investment decisions that fuel long-term growth.
