Companies are scrambling to track, reduce, and offset their carbon emissions as investors increasingly demand to align themselves with sustainable businesses.  Carbon-accounting software benefited from a record year of venture-capital investment. Across Europe, VCs pumped $670 million into the sector across 67 deals, more than treble the $201 million invested in 2020, according to data from PitchBook.
