Stockholm-based impact company Worldfavor is moving into the real estate company Bergsundet’s newly refurbished Worldfavor Impact House, a home for innovation, game-changing ideas and those passionate about sustainability. It will facilitate Worldfavor’s vision to make sustainable business mainstream and welcome other companies working to make a positive impact.
Since its foundation in 2016, the global sustainability platform Worldfavor has grown and evolved rapidly to meet the increasing demand for easily accessible ESG data among businesses. To facilitate the vision of making sustainable business mainstream, Worldfavor is moving into Worldfavor Impact House, a newly refurbished building from the 1800s. The five-story building is owned by Bergsundet and is located in central Stockholm. The building, which at the beginning of the last century housed a basket factory, has been renovated with great care. Bergsundet has focused on renovating and reusing as much as possible, for example, by restoring the original windows. The building will also be certified according to BREEAM In-Use. The approximately 1 000 square meter space will be permeated by sustainability and spark innovation, curiosity, passion, engagement and game-changing ideas. Worldfavor Impact House will also welcome other companies to build a community of impact-driven actors leading the way toward a more sustainable future. Worldfavor Impact House is set to open its doors in January 2023.
– In recent years, we have grown exceptionally fast. Every day, we help thousands of companies globally in their sustainability journeys, and with that comes the need for more space to keep increasing transparency and delivering a high standard of ESG data. We are looking forward to moving into Worldfavor Impact House and making it a place that stimulates innovation, passion and bold new moves and ideas – not only internally within Worldfavor, but together with our customers and other companies as well, says Andreas Liljendahl, co-founder and CEO at Worldfavor.
Worldfavor offers a platform for companies to easily access, share and gain insights to leverage sustainability data and take sustainable action. Over 25 000 users across 130 countries use Worldfavor to understand their impact and risks through ESG data such as CO2 emissions, human rights and anti-corruption. For investors, Worldfavor offers the opportunity to follow up and promote the sustainable development of their portfolio companies and supports regulations such as SFDR, HRDD, GRI and more.
– It feels great to be working with Worldfavor to create a house for creative sustainability actors, Worldfavor Impact House. Bergsundet believes in accelerating towards a fossil-free future where we will see a continued increase in green innovations that make life easier and better, says Karolina Rentzhog, Business and Sustainability Manager at Bergsundet.
