As such, all our systems, controls, and processes have always been designed with security and availability as critical design points. Today, we are excited to announce that we have taken this commitment further by achieving SOC 2 Type 1 certification. This certification, granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), proves our dedication to strict information security policies and procedures. Type 1 certification specifically assesses the design and implementation of these controls at a specific point in time. Achieving this certification demonstrates ongoing dedication to maintaining the highest standards of data security, confidentiality, and privacy. ##### **Next step** While this certification is a great achievement, it is just the beginning. We are continuously working to improve our security measures and are now pursuing the SOC 2 Type 2 certification, which assesses the effectiveness of these controls over time.
