Providing an always-on, highly secure identity service has always been central at Worldfavor. As such, all our systems, controls, and processes have always been designed with security and availability as critical design points.

Today, we are excited to announce that we have taken this commitment further by achieving SOC 2 Type 1 certification. This certification, granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), proves our dedication to strict information security policies and procedures. Ensuring our clients' data is secure and managed in accordance with industry standards.

What is SOC 2 Type 1 Certification?

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is an auditing procedure evaluating a company's information security measures. Type 1 certification specifically assesses the design and implementation of these controls at a specific point in time. Achieving this certification demonstrates ongoing dedication to maintaining the highest standards of data security, confidentiality, and privacy.

Next step

While this certification is a great achievement, it is just the beginning. We are continuously working to improve our security measures and are now pursuing the SOC 2 Type 2 certification, which assesses the effectiveness of these controls over time. This ongoing commitment make sure we remain at the forefront of data security and compliance, providing our clients with reliable and secure services.
